In this game, you will attempt to travel to the planet Mars.

Join those with the brightest minds and the biggest wallets in bringing humanity to the final frontier...

BLASTING OFF

Pick an object in your vicinity. It can be anything – a lamp, a fish tank, a door, a shoe… This object will become Mars. This is where you’re going to travel to.

Now stand 25 steps away from it - steps can be as big or small as you want. Where you stand at this point is Earth. You'll be taking off from this spot.

SHOW ME THE $$

As the exceptionally wealthy head of an independent space program, you must balance your funding ($$) and public image (PR) back on Earth. You begin the game with $5 million and 5 PR points.

You must draw a virtual card each turn. These cards give you prompts for business/planning decisions which you can accept or decline to participate in.

TAKE A CHANCE

Accepting a prompt means you trade off PR for $$, or vice versa, and you can move multiple steps that turn.

Declining it means no such changes, and only 1 step forward that turn.

If you gamble and lose, falling below zero in either PR or $$, you’ll be in debt, and in serious trouble! In fact, you’ll have to move back a whopping ten steps!

MISSION SUCCESS

The game ends when you reach Mars. See how well off you are in PR and $$ by the end. Did you make it through with gains in both, or are you in the negative?

For extra fun, find a friend to play as well and compare scores once you’re both finished.
